These i trulli dwellings were gorgeous. The breakfast was fabulous with many options, including omelettes.
We also had dinner here one night, and the chef came out to speak with us for some time. We are "foodies", so
we really appreciated this aspect. The wildflowers on the grounds were beautiful, which added to the beauty of this borgo.

Friendliness & hospitality of the hosts, the beautiful setting & the authenticity of the stay. The extra outdoor shower, outdoor relaxing zones, the genuine Trulli style houses all around, the unspoilt landscape, the food, the local town.

Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people.
Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people. My Italian is bad but I never had any problems being understood and everyone was very helpful. Go to a place once and they will remember you and your preferences. The food is delicious and plentiful.
The town is clean and safe. One of the really nice things is you can go to the edge of town and farms and vineyards are a short walk. Have a drink or coffee in one of the cafes near the edge of town and enjoy the view.

Cisternino quite rightly is one of the most beautiful town of Italy. We so enjoyed meandering the warrens of beautiful cobbled streets surrounded by immaculate white buildings adorned with an assortment of vividly coloured flowers. The people were so friendly and food and general vibe was fantastic. A truly lovely place to stay and explore Puglia! Less touristy and packed than the neighbouring towns. We will be recommending to everyone we know .

The town is lovely.
The town is lovely. Try to visit the weekly local farmers market (fruit, veg, olives, nuts, plants, cheese and more). There is one Monday mornings. Ask a local to direct you.
There is a great bakery in town called Al Vecchio Forno on the Piazza Mazzini. This is a nice area to walk around at night and it's full of restaurants. A Pté nearby is a cute grocery to get cheese, meat etc. Please buy stuff here and support the local farmers. 😀👍
The town is very scenic, so visit anytime of day for good photo ops and views.
For a good cup of coffee and the best pastries, go to a very popular spot called Almond just outside of town. It's not too difficult to find street parking here, and it has a nice outdoor seating area. Don't miss the creme filled Pasticciotto and Tette Delle Monache. Top!
There's so much more to tell about Cisternino, but it's up to you to discover it yourselves 👍 Best to visit spring and autumn!

Lovely area for the traveller that likes access to several town and city centres with historic quarters. Cisternino itself is one of the nicest hilltop towns albeit relatively small. As a holiday location it provides easy access to many other centres, usually with a short drive. Other key locations like Matera can also be visited within a day trip.

The apartment is spacious, clean, beautiful and close to the center of town. The owner is very nice and checked in with me often to be sure I was happy.
Cisternino is a beautiful lively town with friendly people. Many great restaurants and bars. One night at a bar I spoke to three men about New York, Chicago and Frank Sinatra even though I barely speak Italian and the didn't speak English. Somehow we made ourselves understood.
Casa di Alice is a modern apartment in a quiet alley (apart from an excellent meat restaurant below which can be a little noisy midday over the weekend) The apartment is tech savvy in every way. Basic amenities are provided and it is tastefully appointed. The hosts are also wonderful, helpfully, accommodating and obliging. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, it’s the go to place if you’re visiting Cisternino. Highly recommend.
Borgo Altobello is such a hidden gem in the lovely countryside of Puglia.
Everything is just perfect about the place.

Amazing place ! Very well located, near Cisternino and close to the main cities to visit in the area (Alberobello, Martina Franca and Locorotondo), we found a really chill place in Apulia. The rooms are lovely and very comfy and there is a swimming pool. Valeria, our host has been really nice and listening to our requests. We had a great stay and definitely recommend this place :) thanks again !
Squeaky clean and well-equipped appartment, comfortable bed with quality linen, big bathroom with nice shower and soft and clean towels. Beautiful and silent surroundings. Owners are really friendly and easy to communicate with.
Cisternino is just a 30 minutes walk away, by car just a few minutes drive.
I can highly recommend Trulli Stett to travellers who appreciate nature and tranquility!
i liked that it’s situated very well between Cisternino and the sea. You can easily walk into the town you have a coffee and a food place near by.

I rarely leave a review, but this accommodation exceeded my expectations and deserves a praise. Beautiful remote location but close to Cisternino and Alberobello, friendly and warm-hearted hosts, and an accommodation that was decorated with love and attention to detail. Perfect accommodation for a couple, we did not miss anything here and would come back anytime!
We loved Cara Dori, we had come to Cisternino for a wedding. Everything was super, the host has left some water and essential food which was great. The place was light and cheerful, the kitchen was very well equipped with all our needs.
The owner was very helpful and kind.
We could walk in to the town - definitely a bonus.
Very good value for money.
Our stay at Antica aia was fabulous. The facilities are spacious and the trullo room was unique and quite beautiful. Our hosts, Francesco and Elvira, were very pleasant and attentive to our needs.
The location was central to our day trips to Cisternino, Locorotondo, Ustuni, the Castellana Grotte and Martina Franca.
We had a lovely 2 weeks in Marco's trullo. It was rustic, basic Italian style and in the heart of beautiful Puglian countryside. Marco and Ricardo were great hosts and the area is an easy place to see other lovely village and towns from. We would definitely recommend it to others visitors to Puglia.
The location is excellent. On a hillside, close to many interesting spots in Puglia. And with an amazing view. Angelo and Barbara were always there to either offer the best cappuccino or suggest places to eat in the nearby towns. Pierluigi made sure everything was beyond expectations.
Breakfast was nice with lots of homegrown produce and baked items. Very quiet location but close to Cisternino and centrally located for getting to many other towns. Surrounded by olive and fig trees and many other fruit bearing plants.
Breakfast was excellent, with fresh cheese and some of the best egg options cooked to order. Cute design of hotel rooms. Spotless clean. Hotel restaurant cooks good food albeit a bit pricey. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Borgo Canonica is absolutely stunning! We stayed here before our wedding in Puglia and will definitely return. The attention to detail in the rooms is great and the grounds are beautiful. The food is always great.
Stella and Stefano are extremely friendly and are always available for help and advice.
The location is perfect for exploring the highlights of Puglia.
