The man who runs the place is so lovely and extremely accomidating. The rooms are spacious, warm and very comfortable with lovely amenities like a big bathtub and easy to access extras like a private onsen and the observatory, both amazing.

Set 41 km from Mount Aso, Kurokawa Mori no Cottage offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The owner was extremely nice!!! We were late for Yukata renting and I asked her for some advices. Instead she called the rental place and arranged that for us, return our Yukata the next morning when we checked out. (Normally you should return the Yukata by four pm but she talked to the rental place for us!)
